Hi, I have just completed my MBA in Finance and am looking forwared to my new job at an leading Insurance company. What options does one have in terms of part time insurance certification for better career prospects.

You can start from Insurance Institute of India, Mumbai qualifications. This would also give you basic knowledge on Insurance and also add advantage to your CV .

Hi BB,

You can ask for the training manual from the underwriter of the company and the Agents manual will give you the info you are looking about the product. If you want some info on how the underwriting etc. than its a training aspect. And I am sure they will provide you the training for this so don't worry?
