Question Will my insurance co have a problem with this?

Unfortunately I have been a victim of a burglary recently at my home, my front entry door was broken into and they took away lot of gold and other valuable articles from the cubbord and the key of my car. Do I need to inform the insurance company.
Note - My home is not insured.

Any help would be Much appreciated

You need to inform you motor insurance company immediately. Because in case if there would be theft of the car in future than you need to deposit both the key. If you would only deposit only one than the insurer raise the issue of not informing him about this material fact.

Inform your Car Insurance Company immediately. Better in writing thru email or letter. And mention all the above details without fail.
