how to become an underwriter?

hi this is Vijay. I am pursuing my B.A. from Meerut University and I would like to become an underwriter as I have insurance as one of my main subjects. Please suggest me some good courses from recognised institutions so that I can make my career in the same field.

You can pursue licentiate exam from insurance institute of India, or PGIRM from BIMTECH, Greater Noida or Amity, Noida.

1) Start doing Licentiate parallel /alongside your degree course .
2) After completing your Licentiate you can go for Associate then Fellowship (this course is conducted by III, hope you must be knowing or search in the forum)
3) After completing AIII, you may go for International certicications like CII or AICPCU
