    Yes, we can make our brother/sister/mother/father/son/daughter and even any other related or non related person as nominee but there are some institutions which may not accept unrelated persons as nominee. Otherwise nominee is as same as making a will. Whenever you mention a nominee you should also mention his/her complete address with name and relation.

    You can nominate anybody. Please mention name,age, address on the policy form. And also inform about your family members about nomination.
