How to open PPF account online?

I am looking to open a PPF account online, so that I can do all the transactions online. Please suggest me, which all banks are offering the same.

I don't think that it is possible to open a Public Provident Fund A/c online. You need to apply in the SBI branch with your ID proof and Address Proof. They will verify the document against original documents and account will be open within 10-15 minutes. They will give you your account no. and a passbook for your PPF account. But later on you can transfer funds online into your PPF account.
