Regarding issue of new LIC License.

Hello, I have passed my IRDA Life Insurance examination last month but the LIC officer has withheld my license and I have been told to get 12 policies done before license is assigned. Is this the correct process or is it legal under LIC rules. Please clarify.

No. You passed the Agency Exam so you are eligible for Agency Licence, there is no other condition attached to it.
