I want to know about LIC - health plus.

• Whether in this policy the life risk cover is provided or not?
• Or only the health cover like mediclaim?

Well in case of death, the nominee of the insured would get back the fund value at the current NAV of the fund.

It does not cover life risk. If the principal insured dies within three years, the nominee would get the fund value.
If he dies after 3 years, the remaining family members are covered, until the term of the policy or until the funda value supports.
The fund value is only paid if all the family members dies together.
