Pre-existing Medical Condition (or “pre-existing condition”) means any medical condition or any related condition (e.g. illnesses, symptoms, treatments, pains and surgery) that have arisen at some point prior to the commencement of this coverage, irrespective of whether any medical treatment or advice was sought. Any such condition or related condition about which the PI or insured dependant know, knew or could reasonably have been assumed to have known, will be deemed to be pre-existing.
Pre-existing Medical Condition are :
1. Conditions arising between signing the application form and confirmation of acceptance by the insurance company;
2. Any Sickness, illness, complication or ailment arising out of or connected to the pre-existing illness;
3. An ongoing medical or dental condition of which you are aware, or related complication you have, or the symptoms of which you are aware;
4. A medical or dental condition that is currently being, or has been investigated, or treated by a health professional (including dentist or chiropractor) at any time, in the past, prior to policy purchase;
5. Any condition for which you take prescribed medicine;
6. Any condition for which you have had surgery;
7. Any condition for which you see a medical specialist; or
8. Pregnancy
