Personal Loan - High Interest Rate?

I am looking for a personal loan of Rs 75,000. I have enquired with my bank (where I hold salary account). The interest rate it is asking is on higher side. Could you please suggest me any alternative?

You may take loan against National Savings Certificate (NSC), Kisan Vikas Patra (KVP), LIC policy etc.
