Which is the best HOSPITAL CASH POLICY and the best CRITICAL ILLNESS policy ?

How does the HOSPITAL CASH POLICY and CRITICAL ILLNESS policy of BAJAJ ALLIANZ compare with other companies ?

How much percentage of our income should we segregate for paying premiums for such kind of polices.

Are there HOSPITAL CASH and CRITICAL ILLNESS policies which can be taken for more than 1 year ?

And also are there long term health insurance policies for which we can pay in our earning years and they cover us in our retirement years also.

What is JEEVAN AROGYA and how different it is from other policies and mediclaim.

I am a 45 year old self employed professional.

(c) Minimum Sum Insured -3 lakh
(d) Maximum Sum Insured -12 lakh

(f) Waiting Period – 90 Days

i – Accidental Death /Permanent Total Disablement (PTD) due to accident
ii – No health check-up required for policy issuance


Now this covers only 9 diseases but provides accidental death/ permanent total disablement benefit.

However I have no clue as to how much that is.

So if we take this policy can we skip the routine personal accident policy.

It all depends how much you have taken the cover for:
Minimum Sum Insured -3 lakh
Maximum Sum Insured -12 lakh

So if we take this policy can we skip the routine personal accident policy.

In normal Personal Accident Policy you get following coverage:
1- Basic death and
2- Permanent Partial Disablement (PPD)
3- Permanent Total Disablement (PTD)
4- Temporary Total Disablement (TTD)

and also some add on like loss of livelihood.
